How can I change what the actual dimension reads on the screen?

It's easy to change the dimension display to something other than the actual dimension. Select the dimension, and then deselect the "Show Dim Value" checkbox in the Object Info palette Shape tab. Type the desired display information in the "Leader" or "Trailer" field.

To display information along with the actual dimension, leave the "Show Dim Value" checkbox selected. Text typed in the "Leader" field displays before the dimension value, while text typed in the "Trailer" field displays after the dimension.
