The "E" series of disks are capable of performing two different types of installs;

1) Student Watermark

These installations are installed using a serial number beginning with the letter "E", and will watermark any files created or modified by them with the Vectorworks Educational logo along the top and bottom of the screen. Once installed, they last 365 days and then expire. Upon expiring a new copy of the then-current version of Vectorworks can be requested and installed.

2) Professional Evaluation

Users interested in demoing the full capabilities of Vectorworks (which are not available in the previous 30day demo copy) can be assigned a temporary serial number that will time out after a preset period of time. This number is obtained from a sales associate and is NOT the number that will be assigned to the user(s) once they decide to purchase a full copy of Vectorworks.

Once the 30 day evaluation is over and the software has been purchased, another serial number beginning with E#XXXX- will be assigned and will function as a full professional version of Vectorworks with none of the E series restrictions.
