If you suspect that some third party application or setting is interfering with Vectorwork’s operation, it is wise to boot into the OS without extensions (Mac), or in Safe Mode (Win)

Windows:

Restart the machine, during POST, repeatedly tap the F8 key, a screen will appear and ask what mode you wish to boot in, choose “Safe Mode with Networking”

Mac:

Restart the machine, before the chime; hold down SHIFT until the boot screen with the Apple and spinning logo comes up. Once this happens, you will have booted without extensions.
