msvcr71.dll and msvcp71.dll

If during installation you get an error involving the msvcp71.dll or the msvcr71.dll, the replacements can be found attached to this article.

Unzip the attached file, and place the resulting two .DLL files in the following locations:

On Windows XP/Vista/Win7 32bit:

Place the files in C:\Windows\System32

On WindowsXP/Vista/Win7 64bit:

Place the files in C:\Windows\Syswow64

After placing the two files, reboot the machine, then retry the installation of Vectorworks. If you still encounter problems, contact technical support at:
