New in 2010 - New Stair Tool
A new comprehensive stair tool has been added to Vectorworks Architect that provides you with more flexible configuration options, and improved performance and reliability. This new tool enables you to create different types of stairs by setting parameters in a dialog and inserting them into the drawing. The created stair is a plug-in object that can then be selected and edited. Additionally, the tool can create 2D stair objects or hybrid stair objects that contain 2D and 3D components, and can be saved as symbol resources and exported to other documents.
