Crashing when using Color Picker (OSX)

Having SketchUp installed and creating a custom color in SketchUp, will cause Vectorworks to crash when accessing the color picker.

In the upper left of this image, you will see the standard options for color picking that Macintosh has to offer, then you will see that SketchUp has added its own method of choosing colors, textures, etc:

If you add a custom SketchUp color, to the color well, Vectorworks will crash when the color options are later accessed. Currently the only solution (until the issue is addressed by Google or Apple,) is to not use the favorites feature of the OS color picker to hold custom SketchUp colors.

**This issue has been resolved in OSX 10.6.3 when Apple’s Color picker comes across data it does not understand, it will display a gray filled box. The custom data is still there, but can only be understood and displayed properly by SketchUp.**
