Symbols in Imported DWGs
Sometimes when importing a DWG you may get objects that are contained within multiple layers of symbols that may make editing the information long and tedious. To help reduce the amount of time you may need to spend making these edits you can use the Convert to Group option.To do this, select the object(s) that you wish to have removed from symbols. Go to Modify > Convert > Convert to Groups.
If these objects have sub-symbols or groups the Convert to Group Options Dialogue appears to give you control of these sub objects.
