There is an issue with the file Libraries\Defaults\Plants\Plant Defaults.vwx that causes some plants (specifically, the black-and-white plants) to be unusable in the Plant Tool settings dialog box. If the user selects them from the pull-down menu and clicks OK, they will get a message saying that it is "not a plant".

As a fix, users can replace the Plant Defaults.vwx file by downloading an updated version of it from here (http://download2.nemetschek.net/www_misc/Plant_Defaults.vwx.zip)
