Lightwright Export Fails - (Mac Only)
If when enabling the Vectorworks automatic data exchange in Lightwright, if you receive the error "You need to do a "full export on exit" from VW before you can choose the .xml
file" in some cases, this is because FileVault is enabled. The most common error message caused by this problem is:
"You need to do a "full export on exit" from VW before you can choose the .xml file"
Go to Apple > System Preferences
Go to Security, under the FileVault tab, turn off FileVault.
FileVault is set by user, so if you need to use this function in Vectorworks but have to keep FileVault enabled, you can open Vectorworks in a separate user account to do the Lightwright export, so that your other account keeps FileVault active.
